DONATE
It is through the donations of generous supporters like you that allow us to fulfill our mission to bring the Careers in Construction Program to students across the state of Colorado. With your help we can introduce students to Careers in the Construction industry, train them and help them to be successful in their career choices. All donations will be acknowledged by Careers in Construction Colorado, a 503(c)(3) organization.
FOUR WAYS TO DONATE
Donate by Check through the El Paso County Enterprise Zone
and SAVE an Additional 25% on Your Taxes
CICC is part of the El Paso County Enterprise Zone. This allows you to support construction courses in local schools while receiving a substantial benefit: 25% above and beyond the existing charitable tax deductions through the state of Colorado and the federal government. This applies to all taxpayers, whether you itemize or not. The minimum donation to CICC that can be made through the Enterprise Zone is $250 per year. In El Paso County Donate Through the Building Futures Fund Each Time You Pull a Permit at Pikes Peak Regional Building Department
The Building Futures Fund is an agreement CICC has with the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department (PPRBD) where each time a permit is pulled, you are given the opportunity to donate to CICC. These funds are only to be spent in Colorado Springs, per our agreement. Permit donations are standardized at $80 for commercial permits, $40 for residential permits, and $3 for all other permits, these are charged every time a permit is pulled through PPRBD.
This program is currently only operated in Colorado Springs and does not apply to the state-wide program until more agreements are made with other building departments across the state.
