Across Colorado, CICC students are transforming their learning into real-world experience through the Student Home Build Program. These projects give high school students the opportunity to construct full-size modular homes, tiny homes, and even houses built on permanent foundations. Guided by instructors and supported by local industry partners, students gain hands-on experience in framing, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work while developing teamwork, leadership, and career-ready skills. Each home build showcases the power of connecting education with industry to create real-world impact.
