The Tiger- Summit High School

Now available for purchase, The Tiger is a thoughtfully designed, student built tiny home constructed by Summit High School construction students in partnership with Colorado River BOCES, the Summit County Builders Association, and Careers in Construction Colorado CICC, an industry supported program bringing hands on training to the next generation of construction professionals.

Built to withstand Summit County’s high altitude conditions, this home offers a unique opportunity to invest in both quality craftsmanship and workforce development. Students gained real world experience throughout every phase of construction, working alongside instructors, community volunteers, and industry partners from framing and roofing to electrical, plumbing, siding, and interior trim.

Early buyers have a unique opportunity to personalize the home.
If purchased before construction is complete, buyers may customize select finishes, allowing them to make The Tiger their own while supporting student learning in the process.

Whether used as a workforce housing solution, guest house, office, or rental, The Tiger combines smart design with durability and purpose.
