The Economic Impact of Careers in Construction Colorado

Our goal is to place 500 students into the construction industry each year. Last year, we exceeded that goal by placing 550 students, creating a significant economic impact in Colorado.

Based on the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) National Impact of Home Building model, the economic impact of CICC placing 500 construction workers annually into the construction industry results in:

The ability to build 292 average single-family homes annually.

Supporting 346 full-time jobs in related industries, including:

  • 104 jobs in manufacturing.
  • 107 jobs in trade, transportation, and warehousing.

Generating approximately $44.9 million in federal, state, and local taxes.

Thanks to our many partners, CICC is continuing to make a significant impact to our students, industry, and the future of Colorado’s economy!
